Penn and Teller did an episode on circumcision. I'd recommend anyone to watch it. You DO see a circumcision. If it is so hideous to watch, and squeamish, maybe that is telling you something...

Why do they have to circumcise babies? ,it seems barbaric to me.
Granted if it needs to be done for health reasons(tight foreskin) then yes have it done in hospital
not in front of a load of people that think it's great.

There was a Rabbi in NY who was permitted to use the traditional method of circumcision... That was putting the child's penis in the mouth, and chewing off the foreskin. If it wasn't the religious aspect, he would be in prison. They eventually forbad it, but there was no charges, or action against the rabbi.
