Peak District suggestions.

I'm going to Lancashire on Saturday to see some mates, and thought as it wasn't that far away, make a run into the Peak District on the Sunday.

So far, Padley Gorge and Derwent are the two places on my possible list.

I can't do the massive climbs as I've got a slightly dodgy back and don't want to risk any problems.

If anyone's got any other suggestions, I'll have a look. Thanks all!

I used to work with this guy who does most of his photogrpahy in the Peak District.

You might get some decent suggestions for locations from it.

He's not bad at what he does either!

What part of Lancashire are you going to? North Wales, Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria are all about the same distance, so worth considering too.

Get yourself the latest copy of Outdoor Photography mag (August), as it has a Peak District photo guide.

For a very easy stroll (10 mins and no hills) try a shot of the millstones, good as sunrise and set. This one is at Outseats, but loads of them about.

The reason I was working on the Peak District, is that I'm heading southwards home to Surrey. I'd love to do the Lakes, but it looks like it'll have to wait for a bit.
