Utter moron. Consume less than you burn.

Not that he would heed this advice, as it would require a modicum of self control but it's interesting, none-the-less.

Fewer fat, stupid, lazy bds sponging off the state is a good thing. Someone send him a cake or six!

This. If the stupid fat had a brain he'd send a truck round the Greggs for a bumper batch of saturates-soaked egg-glazed animal gristle* slices and over-salted lard drizzled turnip and offal pasties. Undertaking such a guzzlefest he could easily get his BMI up to 50 and thus qualify for gastro-surgery, hopefully before he died of the diabetes...

Whilst I agree with the sentiment that he needs to stop fking eating.

Something in that article catches my eye, it says even though he was on a strict calorie controlled diet, he has not lost any weight.

Is this the case with Type 2 diabetes, or is he a fat, greedy bd?
Indeed. Diabetes, though an unpleasant ailment, does have the miraculous ability to create matter from absolutely nothing.

And I also should add that I disagree with this operation being offered on the NHS at all, I think it would be better if they were made to help themselves, rather than the state having to Nanny them and effectively control what they eat.
hummm who controls "the calorie controlled diet"?

Oh yeah, that's right, him the fat fk.

Its simple to fix. Stop eating so much, and the T2 diabetes will probably go away, but asking a 2 stone moron to limit his calorie intake to help himself is frankly a non-starter.

Errr that's to do with the amount you are eating fatbloke, if it was really bad they'd have you on insulin. At that point Diabetes is controllable.

A chap I knew was on a 'strict calorie controlled diet', didn't lose any weight because he didn't realise the calorie content of a pork pie, which he generally consumed in one session (10cm dia. jobbies!). He blamed his glands, diabetes etc but once he cut out the rubbish such as Monsieur le Pork Pie, his weight dropped off very fast.

Once he'd lost about 10stone he admitted to comfort eating on pizzas everynight as well as pork pies during the 'strict diet' laugh I guess it's easy to think that one more bit of food won't hurt, but it all adds up!

As I see it, the main problem with obesity is that it doesn't kill the fat fkers quicker.

Like smoking, alcoholic drinks, drugs, etc. wink The human body is very resilient to the crap we throw at it. Now, put water in your petrol tank and how far you can drive.

I imagine his diabetes is a result of poor diet and lack of exercise, self inflicted. What's the betting he's on long term disability benefit, he probably hasn't moved from that chair for the last twenty years, too busy working on that physique. He just needs to get his weight up now to qualify for this treatment, he's got this far so it shouldn't be too hard for him!

Lock him in a room with water, a shower and a toilet. 4 times a day give him a 300 calorie protein based meal. (together with his diabetic medication).Allow him nothing else. Repeat for 12 weeks.

So his NHS trust have basically told him he isn't fat enough for a gastric band?

I suppose he could just eat more pies...

I'm so glad he's funding this court appeal with his own earnings and that the state isn't paying for two opposing teams of lawyers to argue with each other.

That is what's happening right?

Yeah, but he's already tried the low calorie diet. Hasn't he? scratchchin
