Snake Pass Meet this Wednesday...

I'm planning a run out to Snake Pass on wednesday night so get there for a beer and a chat if you can. Join me en-route would be even better

I'll be heading there from Denby Dale, over the Woodhead Pass, through Glossop, up and over the pass down to the Dam turn around and back up the Pass stopping at the Inn for refreshments (ETA 7.15).

Apologies - I can't make it this time other things already on this Wednesday - if we can sort one for August (not the first week) that would be great - July's a little busy for me (new job & everything ).

I would love to come but I live and work in Derby, even if I can get a pass out from swmbo I couldn't get there in time ( I finish work @ 6-6.30) have a great evening chaps.

Thats a shame Tony... how about you suggest a run out for us that heads your way, has to include great roads of course and meets at a point you could join us ? I could change the August run out to head your way if that works... ?

Snake Pass has the advantage of course of being central for Owners from Yorkshire/Lancashire/Derbyshire, but we could alternate if theres enough interest?

More than happy with the location Kevin its just timimng I struggle with, My day off in the week is a Friday so if your next run out was on that day then I would love to tag along but I also appreciate that may not be good for the others who go !

well it was not to be... had a nice run out to the bottom of Snake Pass in Glossop only to see this ...



My Guess is that the authorities know it will be on SCH2012 Hoon andare preparing the track road already

Do you go through Holmfirth and up over Holme Moss down to the Woodhead Pass and onto Glossop? I do the Holmfirth, Holme Moss run and then back on the Woodhead Pass to home near Penistone but aways get stuck behind traffic on the way back. I'll have to try the run to Glossop one day.

Hi Chris

I normally travel up Denby Dale and down to New Mill before heading along the Sheffield road to the roundabout where I turn right onto the Woodhead Pass. My digs is in Holmfirth so if I'm alone I sometimes come back over Holme Moss, but if Jayes with me I retrace my steps as far as New Mill.
watch out for another run out last week in august... would be pleased to have you along.
