Any more had a go at this? Fancying having a go at this and need some hints and tips.
Is a macro lens an essential? How about some cheapo extension tubes?
And what about external flash, required or on camera flash and plenty of light enough to suffice?
If I remember rightly (it was a long time ago) my image above was taken using extension tubes and a standard kit lens.Any more had a go at this? Fancying having a go at this and need some hints and tips.

I had a quick go and managed this. No special equipment and not much experimenting. I'm going to try a coloured version I think

mine were taken with a 50-250 Zuiko zoom at 250 - I did not want the camera too close to the wet stuff. Flash close but out of shotAny more had a go at this? Fancying having a go at this and need some hints and tips.

Macro lens is not essential...but a fast lens is. I used a 50mm f1.4 for mine. External flash is also a must I would say for best results. There's some good tutorials on youtube, try this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwExpFDUC9Y
