Booked a Holiday Online that had apparently "live prices" but then after a 48 hr conformation period the price for the flights jumped up, luckily only by £39 pp.

Does this happen all the time now ? was a new one to us but reading the small print it's all there but still don't get the live prices part.

Never heard of it myself, unless you got a really good deal I would take my business elsewhere.

We did get a great deal so wasn't worth cancelling it, we will argue a bit about it later by letter after we get back. I did see some part of Thomas Cooks T&C's on a forum after googling holidays that go up in price after booking, it said it can happen but not within 30 days of going (ours was booked 2.5 weeks before going but not direct with Thomas Cook but was paid in full at time of booking - well credit card details taken)

Full T&C's here
http://www.thomascookstyle.com/booking-terms-and-c...

I will have to find out if it is just a price rise (flight price did jump up the day after we booked) or fuel surcharge.
