Positive to Negative earth????

I was wondering if anyone has ever converted a car from positive to negative earth? I have recently got a mk1 mini, its a 1965 and is positive earth. I wanted to fit a stereo and alarm this is made harder because the switches etc work on negative earth, can anyone help, the car is bog standard how it left the factory, fitted with a dynamo.
