Small Garage Ramps

As some of you are aware, we have recently (after 11 years of TVR ownership) got a small single garage.
The height is an issue, as is width - its a pretty standard single garage. Does anyone have any suggestions for a set of small ramps?? We'd love full on 4 poster ramps, but don't quite have the height for them, however I have seen various photos of other smaller ramp systems in the past which may be better for us? A conservative estimate is that we'll have 3 or 4 feet of space under the car to work, which would be bloody awesome compared to just axle stands we have previously had to use. For ease, we'd prefer it to be fully electric/ easy to use generally... budget wise, again, relatively flexible, but we don't want anything too elaborate.

Restoration ramps. No bulls
t and no electrics and no need to dismantle in a single garage if you don't need to!! simple concepts are often the best.

Looked at various Strongman options, and tested one today. It is being delivered next week, we'll report back after we've played with it some more, but it is a fantastic bit of kit. Great access to the TVR all round! I bought the Hamer lift because I was concerned about needing access around the car to position the rubbers which contact the chassis on the Strongman lift.
As it is I still need access around my Hamer to jack it up, as the jacks are pointing inwards. Its a simple mod to change the jacks to have the handles pointing outwards but I haven't bothered yet.
I'll be very interested to hear how you get on with the Strongman BCA - whoch model did you pick?

We went for the one that looks like the link below, but a slightly different design from the one on the website - which is the one we tested. Very reasonably priced all in as it happens. I will report back with photos/ thoughts when it arrives. It will be perfect for our Garage - something I am not convinced the Hamer would have been in hindsight, and we also have clearance issues all round. Will report back.

Sorry, busy week is getting to my head a bit!Like this; http://www.strongmantools.co.uk/html/PS3002.php but with a few modifications (even better for access) and easier to move about - a new model that doesnt appear to be there yet. Give them a call for more detail, very helpful chaps - looking forward to getting it soon. Will report back with photos.
The Clifton is a nice piece of kit and would have been the one I'd have got had I gone down the electric/hydraulic route.
I went to their 'shed' to have a look at it and they are very helpful guys who were more than happy to demo it with one of the guys cars.

Yep, space is an issue, though it'll also enable us to get all the wheels fully off the car without having to jack it up further/ access the four corners without anything in the way - something very useful with a TVR IMHO. As for price, it seemed reasonable for the quality of the ramps, the safety features and then delivery etc FOC + smaller rubber inserts to effectively lift the car completely off the ramps - it is worthwhile, for us atleast.
Looking forward to playing with it.
