Unfortunately I have watched previous episodes of The Apprentice, have experience in large complex organisations, do not have a personality disorder and can organise a piss up in a brewery which apparently means I'm not eligible to apply...

We've seen the Young Apprentice and the slightly older Apprentice, it would be good to see a series which only included older apprentices, say between the age of 45 and 55 or even 60 with a proven record in business just to see if it highlights how it really should be done.

It could be more entertaining too with someone older who might not be afraid to answer Lord S back.

They could call it The Grumprentice smile

You know what, i think that would be brilliant, The Apprentice 50+. You can only apply if you qualify for a sunlife plan!

Well i'm only 28 but have applied for the 2012 series. Very concious of the editing work and how people are perceived on the show. And yes before you ask i have a sales back ground but i'm not "CAR Sales" type of sales. I have very little-No chance of getting on but the experience should be a laugh.......i hope!

excellent. We need to think of some BS phrases for you (to use at interview stage). You'll remember the ones:

Everything I touch, dont tell me the sky's the limit...

we've been talking about that today in the office that they all seem to have a catch phrase. I must admit, the "everything i touch turns to sold" is going to be pretty hard to beat!

Plus i haven't been trained by Ghandi or had tea with desmond tutu so i doubt very much i will be getting past the next stage!

When you go into the boardroom...the first thing you need to do is plonk a tin of custard powder down on the table! Dont say anything, just glance at it every now and then.... biggrin

i really don't envisage getting that far. even on the application form they asked why i had applied and i said because i was sick of seeing the constant stream of idiots on it year after year. Then it clicked, i probably sound like one of them now so thats my ticket in!!!

First person to find a birds custard tie and i swear to wear it if i even get close to the boardroom

Spookily, I was saying a couple of weeks ago that they should do s Senior Apprentice, where they brought in people who were on the scrapheap career-wise, and who wouldn't take any crap from Lord Sugar. Nothing to lose and well aware of how the world really works. Prize would be 250k in their pension fund.

Sugar is not running a charity. What incentive is there to give anyone £250k in the pension fund ?
