A friend of mine had a horror show getting into Fairford a few years back due to lengthy traffic queues.

Is this par for the course or was it a one off?

I usually aim to get there about that time. May not go this year as the line up is rather poor, due to defence cuts by the MOD, Libya ops and the USAF are also reducing their show commitments. A shame today was the cancellation of the Mirage F1 display, and the cancellation of the Martin Baker Meteors and QinetiQ Andover, plus a few USAF items frown

When we usually go we catch the bus(not very ph I know)for £10 return I think and it goes the backroads in to fairford and also roads closed to normal cars so hardly any traffic.
