door hinge lubrication

ok,it would appear my two NHC's in engineering are worthless to me

How do you lubricate the door hinges on an S2 without dismantling the whole car.........

so i have to remove the door card? crikey - thanks, perhaps i'll have a look when i get a day off!

ok went to town and had the drivers door hinges both off. Bushes were fine but the bolts had corrosion. These were both cleaned up using a strip of emery cloth, then trated to a night in jenolite, before copious copper greasing before reinstalling. A better fitting silent smooth door results.

Its a faff getting the bolts undone though - one click of a ratchet at a time for about 15 minutes!!!

Much easier once they are lubed up properly.
