Some good stuff in their sales. I picked up Bioshock 2 for three pounds odd. I bought the excellent Batman Arkham Asylum a couple of months ago for the same amount.

A shame their standard pricing is usually so high.

I've been playing Homefront, which was part of this pack. I know single player campaigns have gotten shorter due to the online market being so huge, but it's taken me 75 minutes to complete. As good as those 75 minutes were, I am glad I didn't pay full price for this game.

I've just signed up to Steam hehe . Good times.

My MacBook has Intel GMA950 onboard graphics and a 24" screen hooked up to it. Bad Times (It has got 4GB RAM though).

New Mac is on the list of things to buy but can't afford just yet, in the meantime, to stop me wasting money on games that won't run, what kind of game could I get away with playing on it. I'm not expecting it to run Portal or Half Life games, but some 2D or simpler 3D games will be fine for now. Any recommendations?

Each game will tell you it's minimum system requirements one you click on it, best bet is to have a bit of a float around the store until you find something you like the look of really.

I'm not too familiar with your GPU card but the Valve games aren't usually the most demanding and are usually pretty scaleable.
