..people who flash their headlights at you frantically when you are overtaking a car, towards them but still have lots of room to pull in..
The case this morning: Mum on school run in large 4x4 Shogun (treacherous round schools these days obviously).. me on my way to work down the B428* going past a lupo and an astra..
So the roads fairly straight, I set off.. I'm going a little under 100 just getting past the lead car when madam comes round the corner in her tank.. I get repeated main beam in my eyes just after I have pulled in, I have enought time to get both hands in the air and shrug at her, then flash my lights back a bit, then drive by staring at her.... (a good 4-5 seconds I recon).
Why can't other road users judge the speed of oncoming traffic and assess the danger calmly and rationally.. all she did was creat some risk by trying to blind me with her mainbeam and Cibie driving lamps
Stupid B!tch...

Although, it is not as bad as having to flash ones own lights at someone who has pulled out to overtake when you are coming the other way and you have to brake heavily or make use of a handy layby to avoid them - both times co-incidentally on the same patch of the A505 between Royston and Duxford.
Not totally relevant, but worth a mention... The Stafford road safety chappie on the radio this morning was having a good ol nag at the school run mum's - told them to stop it, walk the kids to school instead and get some exercise into the bargain, instead of cloggin up the roads, leave them for those who need them
Good post M@H.
The other day, whilst on the way to Silverstone I overtook seevral cars. ALL of the overtaking was done safely, and roughly according to all of the advanced driving guidelines i.e. pull out behind the target car, run parallel behind the target car checking the road is clear, accelerate past the target car and pull in smoothly ahead.
However the number of fung numpties that appear to think that any form of overtaking manoevre is illegal and flash their lights (1/4 mile ahead) or waited the considerable time until they were near me to give me the waer salute.
Unbelieveable. Get real, and get out of the way.

Bonce.. you've confused me.. she was coming towards me I didn't overtake her
Yeah, I know - I meant that she saw you overtaking someone therefore you must've been a nutter.

So I guess you dont meet many nutters then!
Only you, you 140mph* Turbo Nutter Bastard!
