Can anyone tell me which is the nearest (known) TVR specialist for Hull area?

I would need a Speed Six service and MOT, and I'm looking for someone as close to the ferry terminal as possible...

Thank you.

closest is:-

Not used them myself. They are a lorry/van/car/tvr servicing place.
Personally I would recommend driving another 30 mins in land to Raceproved

Selby. thumbup

Should be able to get a train into Hull from there too.

...or hitch a lift on a boat up to the Ferry.

Put it this way - I've just made a 200 mile round trip and passed 2 other TVR garages to get my Tam MOT'd and serviced at Selby.

Did the same thing last year.

Proper job at a sensible price.

Gareth has decades of Tiv experience and contacts.

And no spotty yoofs in the service department burning your rubber.

Plus I'm a miserable bd who never recommends anyone.

So get yer sp6 to Selby.

Nuff said.

Thanks guys, I'll go from here...

I live and drive my UK registered Tuscan in Switzerland (mainly). Once a year I plan a proper servicing, MOT and tax renewal trip to the UK. My preferred dealers are Str8 Six and HHC.

This year however I will be combining the service trip with a Wales trip (with 25 TVRs from Holland) and we arrive in Hull. Which is why I'd like to drop off my car a few days earlier, and pick it up as close to the ferry terminal as possible, and then drive off with the group towards Wales.

I'll give your recos a call and see what we can work out. I'd like to avoid to travel all the way from Hull down south to Str8 Six, or all the way up north to HHC... It would cost me 1 day or 2 out of the best week of holiday of the year!

Thanks again.

Another vote here for Selby. I've only taken the Cerbera there once in my first week's ownership, but Gareth and the lads clearly have an absolute wealth of knowledge when it regards all things TVR. They are ex-HHC too, of course.

When are you likely to be having your trip into Wales? The reason I ask is that the North Wales TVRCC regularly have meetings and hoons (approx 1 per month) and there is usually around 6-8 TVR's sometimes a few more.. But it would be great to meet up with you guys and show you possibly the best driving roads in the UK.. And its always great to meet like minded TVR enthusiasts.
Regards
Ian.

Hi Ian. We have a perfectly planned roadbook, incl. hotels, day trips, etc but insider tips are always welcome! We're in and around Kendall 18 and 19, and in and around Wales from 20 to 22 of August.
