Hi All wavey

Wondered whether you could help me....

I have a MR2 Mk3 and need to change the rear pads...can you tell me ( well my husband really!!) wink how to get the calipers open enough to fit the new pads.

Any advice appreciated.............cheers thumbup

Take the top off the brake fluid reservoir. You should then be able to carefully push them back in with a flat screwdriver. Make sure it does not overflow as you push the piston in.

rear calipers, not sure about your specific car but if it uses the caliper as a hand brake too then normally the pistons have to be wound back in, turning them clockwise as you push, can be quite difficult. might not apply to your car but thought I'd mention it just incase
