V8S reverse light switch

Hi

I still have a problem with the reversing light coming on when changing down from 5th to 4th (sometimes for a few seconds). I’ve had this looked at a couple of times to no avail. We’ve tried untightening/tightening up but it still happens.

Before I permanently remove the bulbs I thought I would try a new switch. I think this would be the correct one for a V8S, but can anyone confirm please?

That looks the same as mine except mine has short wires permanently attached, I guess as its original. If thats a hassle it might be easier to spend a bit more and buy the original rather than aftermarket.

Haven't had a chance to look at it yet (car under cover all last week). Hopefully this week I'll get a chance to sort it and let you know.
