Teachers at that celebration of planet-killing?! I doubt it, you're about as likely to see them there as you would on a picket.

I shouldn't worry, those ones will probably be working anyway because they care about their pupils' education.

At my OH's school only one teacher is striking and will be staying at home. Their main concern is a flying picket potentially causing disruption.

"Flying pickets are generally unlawful. You can only join a picket line at or near your normal workplace. However, some workers have the right to picket at different locations (for example, mobile workers who have no normal place of work)."

Got them into what mess exactly? I thought the pension cuts were paying for someone elses mess...hence the unhappiness

If employed, would that be by a school? In which case, no.

Employed by an LA and shuffled around on a timetable basis? Meaning the sickie timetable.

Possibly but it's doubtful whether any LAs can afford this, it always seems from media articles that agencies like TimePlan have supply staff on their books, not LAs.

I would absolutely love to speak to a teachers picket line tomorrow.
When I drop off one twin for a day's education while the other stays at home banghead
