Tuscan R Excluded!
Winning Eclipse car loses first place after technical infringement!
Discussion
I know rules are rules, no matter how pathetic they might be ....... but come on !!
Shane 'BoyZone' must surely appreciate that there are a number of people that still feel he needs to be met with some form of justice or punishment for the hienous crimes committed during his BoyZone days !!

Seems a bit of a shame for Shane and Ben.. But, I 'spose rules are rules, etc.
I suspect I'm not the only one who assumed that Shane was only in that car due to his "Ex-Boyzone" superstar status. This, I am pleased to say, was proved otherwise when I saw him race (for the first time) at Knockhill on Sunday. He was definatly involved in some first class racing, and can very nearly (but possibly not quite) be forgiven for some of the "music"?? he made.
Pete.

Fair play to the guy. He used the music business to generate the cash to go racing. I'd say he's no fool and can definately handle a race car as we have seen.
Don't many of us wish we could swap places, I do.
Julie - have you been reading the dailysportscar write ups on the team - (I write them) - if not, those are the exact words I used - so we think alike!
Shane is a fantastic bloke when you get to know him, very talented behind the wheel and from what I hear, on 2 wheels offroad as well!

Zebedee - I've met Shane a few times, and yes he is a lovely guy. He always has time to talk to you. I loved the series Shane done on men & motors some time ago. Not only did he drive cars, but also tanks, bigfoot trucks and bmx bikes. It was a great series, I wish they would show it again. It showed Shane as himself, enjoying the thrills and spills of all wheeled sports. He is a very genuine person with a real passion for motorsport. I just get really annoyed when people keep going on about "boyzone & boybands" Yes, I have two daughters and we did go to boyzone concerts, but my husband and I also love motor racing, so we have still been able to follow Shanes progress. But he is a racing driver now and I think he has done really well with all the remarks about him. I am so pleased he has proved himself, and wish him all the best in the future. Keep writing nice things about him!! and soon you will be able to write "ECLIPSE WIN".
