Got a sunburnt bonce at Knockhill this weekend. And there was me worrying about not taking an umbrella!

Top weekend though. I flew up this year which saved me two days travelling and made it a very pleasant weekend. I'd thoroughly recommend it - quite cheap too really. A B&B in a village pub nearby and back home ready to get stuck in again this morning

Didn't see you there Ted, you should've come and said hello. Actually that's a bit of a lie because I saw you in the hotel but I was on the phone and so couldn't call you over. But I definitely didn't see you at the track.

I did come and look for you but you weren't around on the couple of occasions I mooched past.

More worrying is that I wasn't at a hotel!

Does this mean there is an imposter 'Ted walking the highlands? Or does Young Pullan need spectacles.

It must have been a member that looked like you from the back and was wearing a Pistonheads jacket whilst carrying a Pistonheads bag!

One of the chaps in CDL's team has a PH jacket. Probably him as he's of a similar stature to me

Ted, I didn't know you had Pistonheads bags?!?! Hmmmm! I really really really wish I had gone up to Knockhill now! It's roughly 2 hours away! Silverstone last year was IIRC around £20 for the September race! What was Knockhill?!?!

Knockhill was £10 on Saturday and £20 on Sunday.

I don't have PH bags. Should I invest in some? I know you'll buy one(!) but will anyone else

£30 for a weekends racing and paddock access (or is that just the press?!?!)! Thats pretty damn good! Now I really doooo wish I had gone sounds like I missed a corker of a GTO race

I'll probably buy one Ted, depending on the type (rucksack, sports bag) but I need a Cap, Paddock Jacket, another fleece, a mouse mat and some sticky stickers!

The TVRCC does a good umbrella, golf sized (game not car!) so why not a PH one?

£30 for the weekend would certainly see you into the paddock. Once in the track, the paddock is open to all, so you can meet and speak to the drivers, watch the cars being worked on and take in the atmosphere. If you are even slightly interested in this championship, or these type of cars generally, then GO TO A RACE - you will not be disappointed - its almost worth going for the sound alone!
