The drag of the hose behind does the stabilising and provides a max height as the higher you go the heavier it gets. Hopefully it doesn't come out of the water or you will be back to Newton again...!

Nice idea; would like to see more on the jet power system.

Im think more about how high you could get with a supercharged LS9 engines (600bh) conected to the pump!
