I always wonder how much weight the court gives to the lack of respect given to the court by turning up looking like that. I hope they do.
The Daily Mail tells us she's dole scum too.
I think on balance there will be no loss to society as a whole if she is sent to prison for a few weeks, and perhaps the time locked up will give her the opportunity to think about whether insulting public servants who have been crippled in the line of duty is a nice thing to do.

What's wrong with Kelsey? Here's a little list, in no particular order:
She's got no job
Because no-one in her family has. It's probably never even occured to her because she's most likely a 3rd generation scrounger.
She's fat
Because she drinks cheap cider and eats chips. Because she doesn't know how to restrain herself.
She's got a stupid name
Ever met a Doctor called Kelsey? Or anyone useful? I don't know what soap opera featured a Kelsey 22 years ago, but which ever one it was marked the cultural horizons of this oaf's mother.
She thinks it's cool to be a gangsta
Even though she said sorry, she still turned up at court wearing that stupid hat and bling bling jewelry looking like a burst cushion.
All this adds up to a stupid, bored, ignorant and bitter person who doesn't understand consequences and doesn't have any empathy for the world aruond them. Least of all for the idiots who go to work and pay the taxes that pay her benefits.
She knows these people actually hold her in contempt, so she returns the contempt and displays it as loudly and provocatively as she is able.
Kelsey, in other words, is scum. Most of her family are scum, and most of the people she knows are scum. And what's more they will keep breeding more scum until they overrun the whole country and there's nobody left to rob. Or until someone finally does what has been needed for years and stops these people living off everyone else.
ETA: I'm sure there are decent people called Kelsey out there somewhere, it's just one of those names that I've only ever heard of being attached to a.

She's an example of everything that's wrong with the benefit system. They see benefits as an entitlement rather than a safety net. Until somebody actually deals with this and gets past the 'attacking the poor' mantra, nothing will ever change.

I think the copper should have been a bit less of a drama queen and she ought to grow up.
The copper has been through a rough time but that's no excuse to feel offended by some moron like her, what's he thinking of ? He's an honourable, tough chap. You can only genuinely feel offended by comments made by somebody you have some respect for and whose opinion you value.
The court/cps should never have allowed this kind of case to get past the starting gate. Utter waste of money and only feeds the Daily Mail readers with more drivel and trash perpetuating the cycle . . .

But he can feel distress that there are people laughing at his condition....whether he respects them or not.
My gut feeling she was a 22 year old acting like a 12year old tiring to look big and clever. I don't think sending her to prison is going to help much. It will probally make her look big in front of her mates when she gets out.
Much better to dress her in some baggy orange overalls and do something useful fro the community instead.
