Double breakdown

Some of you know that my fan packed in on the way to SCH. I crawled the last 4 miles and finally arrived. Many thanks to Maffey, Neil, who rigged me a switch to get the fan going Well, 5 miles from home, yup, broke down again, this time a suspect coil !!!!! The car engine would just cut out, cool the coil in a tub of water and hey presto it runs again but only for a few hundred yards. Anyway I got a tow home as it was to close really to call out the breakdown truck. SCH, was it worth all the problems, HELL YEAH, the run out to the Ponderosa was awesome, camping was great and seeing all the S`s on show is rather special, just need some spares and away again.

was also fun jump starting the S a good 3 times :-)

Steve you don't have much luck with S Club!

Break down there and back this year, plus I seem to remember you having some sort of issue with your brakes last year

Sorry to hear about your breakdown Steve, I guess it was really hot on the way back and I suppose that finds out suspect coils

Hi Dave, it was hot, phew, roof, off too, it`s hard to believe that it conked out on the return but it`s worth it

I reckon its those white stripes Steve
Or maybe that bad-boy exhaust is sucking out your engine internals? Have you looked inside the rockers to see if there's anything left in there ?
