PS3 constatnly internet busy

over the last few days my PS3 has had terrible connection and is constantly accessing the internet - upload speed yesterady was as low as 266 kbps!

COD was impossible and nothing else in the house was online. I've no downloads progressing.

anyone else having similar issues? I'm loathed to contact sony as I'm sure I'll be on the phone for two hours and get nowhere - any advice appreciated.

I've got sky bb and I reckon it might have been hacked but can a PS3 be hacked remotely?

My PS3 connection is also terrible. I'll be signed out of the PSN for no reason even when nothing else is on in the house - I get about 1mb upload at most but usually it's way, way under!.


I'm on Sky broadband as well.

I think it's Sky.
I had trouble last week, gave them a call and magically I had a stronger connection.
If you threaten to leave they'll jump through hoops for you.

I'm on Sky too and never have any issues.

Are you guys on the unlimited connection?

Mini - if you are limited could this be the issue - as you always drop in the last 1/4 of the longer races.

on the internet box the lights are flashing all the time sometimes even though no-one is connected - I think we might need a new code password....

it is very frustrating though

I'm on unlimited. Only had problems for that one week, then I called them. Fixed now.

Apparently it was because the signal wave changed and was getting blocked by the Turtle tank in my room
