SCH 2011 - It Over

Three things:

Firstly thanks to all who came again and thanks especially to Jaye, Gary and Tinks for the help prior to and during the event. All in all (with a couple of mugs to post) the total raised for charity came to slightly over £1050, an exceptional total in my opinion.

Secondly as I mentioned to a number fo people at the event Jaye and I would like to hand over the reigns of organising SCH2011 having done it for 2 years. If there are any willing volunteers please email or post and let us know. I am still willing to be involved in next years organisation but work is stopping me from putting the time into this and the Devon TVRCC Regional Organiser role hence the wish to let someone else take the lead. Please step forward!!!

Finally to help me write the article on this event I will need some photos from others and as such my son is developing an upload page on the main SCH2011 website at www.gbsportscar.com to let you upload all your photos in one go and add your name so I can use them in the article and credit you with the shot. It will also creat a single gallery for all to view and download from so please use it.

Hi All

Sounds like the day was another success, well done Mark, Jaye and co.

Great weather again as well.

Apologies I couldn't be there, hopefully next year.

For those of you that attended the S club Scotland Trip, we raised £40 from the Stovies lunch at the Distillery. I have sent this through to Mark to be added to the great total already raised.

Another fantastic time had by all, Isaac crashed (as in crashed out)as usual whilst we were doing 80 on the motorway with the roof down (photo is when we got home, not while driving!). Not fair that 6 year olds can get that comfy in a car seat...

Thank you to Mark and everybody involved, especially from the Scottish contingent - it was a superb day, and well worth the trip, 300 miles each way times 6 cars = 3,600 ozone-friendly TVR miles. Great to catch up with old frients and also to meet people you only know by name from the forums.

wish there was a prize for "Most comprehensive and public service history" though!

Great work guys, great prizes, and well done on the amount raised.

It's what it's all about.

For those who missed him today our usual "Best S3" Liam (Mr Plow) was absent due to the birth of George on the longest day of the year last week - I have already congratulated Cassie and him and wished the family well. I have also thanked him for adding the Scotland trip funds to this events collection

ps: I didn't think it fair to tell him to get his priorities right though - SCH or look after mother and child - no comparison

It was great to meet freinds old and new and the weather today made up for the wet yesterday.

There were some great cars there today, well they are ALL great cars (even the ExcesS club's cars) but Jens car was of most interest to me proving less is more...
Well done on the award and I hope you read this on PH
