anyone cycled from romford to central before?

we will be between flats for about 11 days and will, with regret, have to move in and commute from my missus parents place in romford.

I've never cycled to work from here or even driven this route before - its about 17 miles or so I think to holborn - has anyone done it and if so how long will it take/shoul it take/ should I get life insurance?

otherwise I'll get the train with all the other rats going to work..

Not done it but that distance is fine
I think? Chap at my place does 17 miles each way every day.

17 miles should be ok. will mean I'll have to get up a bit earlier than my usual 0830 time..
