Shareware football manager game

I used to play a shareware football manager game years ago. It was based in the italian league. The shareware version only allowed you 1 season in the top division before ending the game (or paying for it).

Anyone know the game I speak of?

I remember Universal Soccer Manager being like that, but not sure it was the Italian league

No, it was more basic than that. Very little in the way of graphics.

I found it!

Allenatore: Italian Football Manager

It's now available as freeware too! Unfortunately it doesn't run on Win7 Any ideas anyone?

I've just downloaded it and it works using Dosbox.

I got it to run, thanks. Turns out it's not quite the one I was thinking of. The one I was thinking of only rated players out of 100. Hmmm

Had that on the Amiga and the PC. What a great game
