Toyota Carina ABS light
Discussion
Any Toyota diagnostics gurus on here?
The sprog's '97 Carina E has developed an ABS fault. I pulled the N/S sensor (after stripping out the wheelarch liner)
and it is open circuit. I'm getting fault code 36 from the ECU which, extensive internet research tells me is open circuit on R/H front (O/S?) or L/H rear ABS sensor
Before I randomly start replacing sensors at £100 a time, can anyone tell me how to be sure that I'm not wasting cash? I will pull the O/S sensor mañana, but dusk is upon us now, and I fancy a pint.
