Can anyone tell me what make of car the driver door strike plate is from for a 1976 3000m tvr? please

Sorry but these are NOT Triumph, but FORD items....either way, whatever is the problem, I will have stock of both. as I say jump to the TVR classics forum , there is a wealth of info there.

Its not for me its my neighbour he needs to replace the drivers door strike plate but he is not sure which part to get

Well.. IF it is push button...the strike plate has a set and safety setting (unlike systems of today) and you need to understand that the door plate needs to go past safety and then latch and that he will need to bring the plate OUT to find safety and then latch..it common to assume that these are faulty...also IF you use too long a bolt to hold the mech into the door it will stop the mech from latching.
