Just found out today that Tom is heading South on Friday with his new Ginetta.

I don't know if it was him, but I passed on opposite carraigeways, what I thought was a black/dark coloured Ginetta.

It was on the A69 about 11.00ish on Monday and I was heading into Newcastle, he was heading away.

Was it him ????

I would guess so. I haven't seen it myself but Dave has told me it sounds glorious and looks like a beaut! All I know is thats it's purple and will more than likely be a 3.5 RV8 or so...

Not just yet, there's loads of other options open to us other than buggering off. Even if we do decide to bugger off, It'll be ages yet.

Tom's email has been cut off as he's leaving.

Can't have been him as I only took him to pick up the car on Tuesday.

The Ginetta is a std Rv8 4.0. Great looking and sounds fantastic. He says he will post when he get to Nottingham.

my god what a fantastic car! noise = surely illegal with a lovely crackle at full bore, and a gorgeous overrun that scares pedestrians..and upsets little children when it idles...

the slippy diff means sideways action is easily available, and wow does it shift...I won't say what I did the other night (and yesterday, and today ) but it was with the lights up, a passenger, and running on 95RON...but it involves the figures, 1, 4, and...oh, do you know I don't remember the other one....

well it is a possibility...340 round trip to the ramside...wouldn't take that long at warp speed now would it?

there will now be a small gap in posting (a week) as I nip over to portugal for a short foray in to foreign ladies & foreign beer.....
