I also went and recorded the car for this computer game yesterday.....however car not running right and take a guess at the BHP.....

car is running no cats, tubi, gruppe M airbox filters and ECU chip

260 bhp at the hubs.....

mmm...something wrong me thinks with my motor...

bypass valve packed up again after being fixed only 2 hours earlier...will have to bite the bullet and just get a new one I think...

Had new rear 02 sensors put in as old ones were knackered......rear cat sensors plugged in or unplugged made no difference on power run....tried both ways....

Sure it was hot in there but same conditions as Big T's 360.....

Miffed off....car going back to be checked over - anyone got any clues / ideas as to why it is soooo down on power ??? Even if you assume 375 stock and be lenient on that and say 350 then if you take a drivetrain loss of even 20% then I am still way way under power when i should be well over on average with all the upgrades.....

Car is fluffy on tickover and does feel a little retarded (like the driver ;-)) on the road again.....

Help please....

Basher, it was good to meet you yesterday. Sorry to hear about your results, definitely sounds like there's a problem somewhere and hope you get it sorted out soon...good luck.

I'll mail you soon and maybe pop out for a sup one lunchtime nearby.

Most truthful thing you've said in all the time I've known ya...

Seriously though mate, it did sound a little off when you were pulling away, definitely wasnt as loud as I remembered it.

I recall my bypass valve failing to open meant the car felt slightly slower, but again that could just be FELT rather than WAS. It wouldnt be the first time I was talking bollocks!

While you were testing, did you bother to stick the valve open to see if it made a difference?

I;m not sure on long term implications of wiring the valve open, I did hear it was bad for your cats (err what cats), but other than that I dont know.

Just get a new valve and stop pissing about. Easy for me to say I know, mine only cost £180! lol, £900 odd for a silly little bit of metal.

My only suggestion, get it back to Verdis?

BTW, got my pads changed allround yesterday so quite happy am I, plus the car is firing up like before and feels bloody fast again. Think I'd shagged the ecu settings, carl was right. Saying that, apparently my airflow someshit or other might still be a little out, but warranty job so at least not too bad

Anyway, it was good to see you dude, and I note you still talk like a fag

Sounds like you need to upgrade the chip. There's a good one inside a 550 Maranello
