Picked up my 5.0 Chim yesterday from Peninsula, all my bits were on and no complications, I really have to say that the guys down there are the best I've come accross, anyway, roof off and sunny drive back played around on the way back, whent out for a play at my usual playground (the roundabouts at between Ferndown and Ringwood) and came across a 360 modena doing the same, I thought i'd get wasted by such exotica, but neck and neck to 150 then we both backed off, can't beleive the difference in performance from my old 4.0, loved that car to death, but this is something again, i'm so chuffed! just had to tell some people who'd understand, thanks for listening.

Glad you're happy with your new motor hope to see it about. In what areas is the 500 a major improvement over the 400?
I had a similar feeling when looking at S's, I know not quite the same league as a 500Chim however, looked at S3's then drove a V8S and thought I gotta have one of these, then drove the HC S and thought got to have THIS one. Frightening to think what would happen if I jumped in a Griff/Chim500, stand-by bank manager don't go there

So much more torque, everyone said to me ' once you've driven the 5.0 you could never go back' and they're right, I can't imagine ever wanting to go any quicker, well, not untill next year anyway
