Ad-hoc flexible jobs
Discussion
I work on a ad-hoc basis as a Land surveyor, and engineering surveyor (On the railways) and as a CAD draughtsman(I say draughtsman for lack of a better word, I'm distinctly average at CAD, but I take my time and the quality of the drawings I produce keep the company asking for more)
Might not be an answer you were looking for.
Anyway as a suggestion, maybe get a PTS (Personal Track Safety) card, get a COSS ticket and you will have work a lot of ad hoc work available to you.
If you want more info ask away.

The term now used to describe what you are aspiring to is 'portfolio working'. See: <http://www.open.ac.uk/careers/portfolio-working.php>
Based upon your own core competencies, your willingness to learn further skills and your ability to fund further learning and qualification, there is plenty of opportunity. Happy to advise further if you want to pass your cv across. Good luck!

Thanks Ross. Those specific skills don't translate across for me but I would be interested in hearing about how you found the roles.Ross1988 said:

Again, it would be interesting to hear where roles would be found after certification with no direct contacts.Field marketing agencies have alot of work of this nature. It'll be work such as product demos, merchandising, mystery shopping. You're given a casual work agreement, and the relationship is that the agency is not obliged to offer you work, and you're not obliged to accept it when you are offered it.
There's loads of them about - Google away!
