Clive F adjustable tune resistor?
Discussion
Yep that's what I have on mine. Would be very interested to see your results as on mine it runs best with the standard Cat setting but when I switch to the non cat setting I seem to lose some power but there is then not the slightest hint of shunting and the car is transformed for driving around town ??
Right tune resistor settings are as follows
Red= Australian non cat tune
Green= European non cat tune
Yellow= Middle Eastern non cat tune
Blue= Special ?
White= US/UK cat tune
I am running White at the moment which feels quicker and Green is the one that feels smother.
By the way there are 2 settings for white but they are both the same.
Let us know how you get on !

Hi 666 SVT, have you noticed any difference in economy between the white & green resistors?Red= Australian non cat tune

To be honest I've never really thought to look I just drive till the tank hits quarter full and fill her up again with Shell's finest.
Don't reset the trip or anything so honestly couldn't say.
Ok, I will do an economy test using my current white resistor and the green one I bought from Rimmers last week.Don't reset the trip or anything so honestly couldn't say.
I have a 250 mile round trip planned next weekend so will report back on here Monday week.
Interesting to hear you felt the green resistor reduced power but smoothed out town driving.
That sounds to me like the green resistor map is richer in the lower rev range.
There is some evidence to suggest the green resistor may give slightly better economy when motorway cruising.
DBV8's AFR readings on the different resistors will also be very interesting, especially during different driving conditions (motorway cruise, town, acceleration ect)
