Just realised my mum's gaff could be usefull. Her house is set in 14 acres on the side of the A64 at thorner. Does anyone fancy having a big non profit doo, ie camping ,beer, a couple of bands and a bbq, did ~i mention beer? If you are interested say Aye (best yorks accents please chaps)

just a thought, if you think it's a bad idea just say so.

PS Make sure it's not Eurohoon week, or me, Rods and Burriana 500, as well as a few others, won't be able to make it.

How about 14th. August? There's nothing much in Yorkshire then....

a bit like a 'YorkshireFest'!

You'll probably find most of the Yorks TVR guys n girls are up for that, the thing is, fitting it around all the other biggish events.

On the other hand, to limit your outlay and lessen the hassle somewhat... if you said, right, we've got a big bonfire and a BBQ and you're all welcome to bring beer and tents... so it's more like a relaxed party and less like an organised event, that may be easier? just a thought.

A BBC... bring a bottle, burger and car

soryy for leaving the thread unnattended for so long, just got back for a stay in Masham, but I forgot to take a lapton. (Skipton hall, lovely place by the way)

I haven't even looked round the land properly yet to work out where everything would go, access etc. I'll have a look next weekend when the olds are back from the Costa del Crime. If it looks like a lot of planning is needed I'll probably have to make it a summer swan song type of event.

I'll keep you all posted.

Steven - I'm just up the road, so let us know when you move and I can bring you out on a few runs with us if you like.

What do you have now if you've let the cerb go?

oh... and I keep meaning to ask... how do you get two pics on your profile I keep trying but can't seem to figure it out, hence why I am currently displaying the uber-cruiser!

You put the pictures in the notes section rather than the pic section. Standard Ted-HTML works - just like in the forums .
