Baby books etc

Well it finally caught up with me - the Mrs is pregnant and due December 17th. Touch wood and not wishing to tempt fate, but this was planned (albeit held up by six months as she had to have her gall bladder removed), but we conceived pretty quickly after starting to try, so I appear to have good swimmers!
The Mrs has been desperate for a child since we met (reckons her biological clock is ticking at 34... women!) and more so the last year or so, and as you might expect has read every single book inside out twice, and we have a few good midwife/nursing friends.
I've just gone along with everything, but haven't really read up on anything in particular - I do glean a lot of information from her, but wondered if there's any good, not too in-depth books written with a male perspective in mind. I don't want chapter and verse on every trimester etc but would appreciate a good overview to know where things are going, what happens when etc. Any recommendations?

The OH and I both found What to expect: The first year to be very helpful.
You really don't need to go overboard with the books, it all comes naturally.
It's easy to say that looking back of course.
One thing I would recommend is knowing breast feeding inside out. If the baby doesn't take to it, which is common, your missus can get quite upset. It's good to know what's going on.

As this is PH, the baby Haynes is a must 
I fouund it handy although am now too tired to refer back to it!
I also liked Fatherhood: The Truth which I bought following a recommendation on PH iirc.
