Took the motor down to meet the guys developing a new car game for a games console (not sure whether I can say the name of the game or not) so they can make some sound recordings which will be used in the released game.....lovely jubbly..Cheers Lewis...

At the end, we did some power runs and had some impressive results.

358.1 BHP at the axle which was calculated to be approx 408 BHP at the fly wheel!!!...very nice indeed..

Max torque lower than publicised, 250 lb/ft at 6200 RPM, but most importantly, there is a massive torque band all the way to over 8000 RPM...Also, looking at the BHP power graph, the line is almost a straight one diagonal with no dips...apparently was told this is very impressive....

Anyone else got some figures for their 360??? Probably quite normal figures but satisfied they are good especially when being very disappointed with the Cerbera's results..

It sure does feel a quick motor, more than the Cerbera..

One happy man and can't wait to hear it on the game..

T.

Nice one T, I'll look forward to hearing about the game. They wanted my car down but I couldn't justify taking a day off for it (working on contracts as I do...). Shame as I really want to get her on a RR sometime.
The 360 does feel quicker than your Cerb though, thats for sure. Not sure its as much sideways fun though
Got some excellent pics of your car by the way, will mail them over when I get back. Shame couldn't stick around for a sherbet on Sunday....

Interesting, is it only the 355 that loses 20% between engine and wheels?

I might get mine checked to see, coz it does feel quite a strong engine and its been quicker than a couple of other 360s I've tested. Would be interesting to know whether my bum dyno is working correctly lol

You've probably got a good one there, I've heard of engines struggling to get 360HP...

And there was this 355 I heard about, that was really really slow, although rumours were abound that he wanted to try and race 360's...

Ha ha......

I only offered to race you because the delay in your foot pressing the stilt and the stilt pressing the pedal means i can out gun you you midget.....

ps.... how is cornering now sitting on all those shoe boxes?? do you still slip off and resort to driving by periscope ??

nice to see you are (wit wise anyway) still on form... shame your car isnt... shame you are looking like a right skinny fecker too... havent caught a AIDS have you? ... slag.

ps cornering is fine, got rid of the boxes, using filled cushions now, no need for periscope either..yippee whats your excuse though? too dopey or too lanky to get comfortable??? maybe you should go for the old farts 550....

pps is that a dodgy haircut or you losing your hair? Oh and that silly kick, what the hell was that all about? Army trained... yeh yeh.

Yeah girls, why don't you get off my post and get a room....

Ninja, how was your Spider fairing against Pani's Spider at VMAX earlier this year?? Saw you had a couple of runs together.

Big T, which Rolling Road was it???

408bhp certainly does sound impressive, but the torques a little bit too low isnt it?? 250lbs torque?? Surely that would suggest that your old Cerby had more real grunt acceleration wise atleast??

Have heard of a few 360's getting 350ish brake and one rather good one getting 380, 408 is huge power!

Shame that the 355 isnt anywhere near it in power terms, whats its general straight line pace like Basher?? Something broken?? Have seen an owners face crumble as his 355 got 290 on a Rolling Road, although IIRC it wasnt anywhere near as fettled as yours - no GruppeM/Tubi stuff there! As a previous Cerby owner atleast this wont have been too much of a shock to you though surely? Hope all is fixed/ sorted soon.

Good luck all, look forward to the game

hello mate, there wasnt much in it between Pani and I to be honest, last run was about a cars length (to him) when over 120 or so , most of the time we were about quits, at times mine looked faster, at others his looked faster. Probably nothing in it in reality.

I havent spoken to him for a while but I think he's now taken out the ecu, my thoughts are being catless and the new ecu have done nothing for performance. But Pani being Pani has changed his supercars as often as the weather, so the ecu is actually set for his previous 360. I personally think having cats improves torque at low rpm.

I should really drop Pani a line, organise some kind of outting soon.

Look forward to seeing your car, should be a quick bstard with those figures.

I get my stuff from oxfam, no VAT on second hand goods... like most of the women you frequent.... you should try to get them "off the meter"... talk to Rich, he can advise Mayfair club.too funny.enough said.

Seriously dude, it has been a long time, seen Dean a weekend or so ago, but havent seen you or the rest of the lads for a while. I'll try me best to make it to le mans, but if not we;ll all have to get together for a drink in the city.

ps you're not looking skinny, you're looking pretty well actually, I'm just jealous , i've lost all me abs now and looking a bit sorry for myself... lol

to be honest mate I thought that car length that he had on you he carried through the corner rather than gained on the straight.

quality comment re the VAT by the way basher.

you probably right Phil, but nonetheless benefit of the doubt.

Pani is such a nice guy, he wasnt too happy with the improvements but didnt make a song and dance about it. Personally, tuning cars, I'd only bother with turbo charged one. Ferrari's are so highly strung as it is.

Nice to see Big T's car running over stipulated power though

Hey RIch

996 TT is unbelievably quick but after a while they get a little zzzzzzzzz...did not feel so special to drive as a slower F car....such a shame the interior is so dull otherwise great car....

Especially if you need to commute ...so reliable and cheap relativley speaking .....

God I sound like a commuting bore

Ali and I are F cars forever (or maybe Lambo too )

PS.Ali ---- You could probably reach the pedals in an F40 but those little legs wont be able to press the clutch down and you'll disclocate your shoulder changing gear....but hey - I'll drive it for you and you can sit in the baby seat

Hey Tony, is your footage going to feature in the VMAX DVD? I hope so coz havent seen much footage of my car, would be nice to see some lol.

I didnt know about this VMAX coming up, havent been checking the boards recently, so only found out when Dom text me. Not sure I can make it, probably not

Rich, you've conveniently forgotten how 1) you kept calling me crying that I should to drop back coz you couldnt keep up... 2) you were all over the place trying to keep with me in the corners 3) you stalled your car trying too hard lol, basically, your car was ALWAYS the one behind??? Like the rear end of the 360 do ya? Bit like Fraser? lol

Fraser you are one funny bastard I have to say . I'll sit in the baby seat no probs, but how you gonna drive without your silly steering wheel, with the, I quote "nice bit at the bottom" ? Come to think of it, you do talk a certain way... Dale Winton....Graham Norton... hmm... is there something you're not telling us??? All those long nights and days training with all those men, and teenage boys...

Ali you cheeky mucker.

I called you to ask if you could let me know in advance which way we were going so that I could follow, you know those indicator thingies.

All over the place?????? We talking about the same Saturday night? Can I mention you getting lost in the petrol station then :-) lol I wont dont want to embarrass you.

Yes I did stall, that was when you pulled into a left hand turn only lane and i had to almost ram the bus that was pulling in next to me. Scared them more than it did me, but it block the thing in.. ALWAYS BEHIND BECAUSE I WAS FOLLOWING!!!.

Forgot to say you said your car needed longer legs, or was that you needed em.. cant remember now :-)
