It arrived in the post by recorded delivery the day after ordering.

Been testing it in my MR2 before taking it to Mole Valley for fitting to a Tuscan....

Anyway, the reason for writing is this...what an incredible piece of kit. Plugged it in and it immediately found 10 satellites (min. 3 required). Driving along, there's the voice warning, telling you what type of camera, plus beeps which increase in their urgency as you get closer to the target.

If you decide to look at the LCD screen, it tells you a plethora of information: which direction the camera is in relative to you, the range to camera, the speed limit of the area, the road number and your compass heading, as well as vehicle speed. A lot of information, which you can completely ignore, as the main point is to warn you of a camera up ahead. If you don't look at the screen, the beeps do a good job of warning you of proximity, added to two small flashing red lights on the unit which you can see out of the corner of your eye, without distracting your concentation.

Unconsciously, you start to slow down as soon as the beeps begin, gradually reducing your speed, in a calm and relaxed way... and instead of feeling really angry (is this just me?), I began to feel a bit smug in the knowledge that the cameras won't flash at me, becuase I know where they all are with this thing.

Enough droning...if anyone wants a more in depth review, let me know and I'll post something after a couple of weeks use.

£400. You can plug the box into a modem and download camera updates (modem, cables, power supply included) whenever you like. The first year is free, then £50 per year.
