Pencil drawing commission- on framed paper, or canvas?

Hi all

A couple of friends have opened up a mountain biking shop locally to me, quite modern and of course filled with the latest high tech bikes and equipment with price tags to match.

I do a fair bit of pencil drawing, highly detailed realistic in style (google image search punk pencil drawing, mine is the one that appears a few times at the top under Louisa911 on deviantart as an example...)

The shop walls are still a little sparse up the stairwell etc, so I have asked if they will put up a drawing of some sort to advertise / sell my work to which they agreed. I'm planning on a detailed forest scene along the lines of this http://cdn.outdoor-photos.com/_photo/2875718.jpg but of course my own image photographed with a local rider.

To complete and display the work, which will be approx. 420mm x 700mm, would you recommend doing the drawing on heavy duty cartridge paper and framing it with a custom made frame which will cost approx. £70 online, or do the drawing on a smooth canvas / mount the paper onto a wooden frame?

Just looking for ideas as I need something high quality to match that of the shop, but I don't have spare cash to throw at it either! Done lots of drawing but the presentation of them has never been that important to me before.

Paper & mount/frame. It'll look a lot classier. Remember you can always take it out of the frame to sell or offer to do one without the frame.

You wont get the fine detail on canvas I bet anyhow?

A 420 x 700 image is going to look pretty small on a shop wall.
How about a larger mural painted onto the wall itself?
