Photobook recommendations & Extracting from PDF

Sorting out a birthday book and been sent 5 pics on a single pdf page is there anyway of extracting them individually, yes I did Google but someone with experience would be helpful even if the answer is I suspect a no!

Oh and while I'm here is 4800dpi good enough to scan photos and any recommendations for a photobook, did one years ago but I'm the game has moved on!

If you're printing same size then 300 is ample. Put it this way, how many dots per inch can your eye resolve? 120-150 probably. Use higher if you want to enlarge. Otherwise you'll just get files larger than a country and no benefit.

You have a "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. Use it.

(this probably works better on Ubuntu than windows - I can make my desktop as large as I like, and then zoom all the way into the picture if needed as the screen print is massive)

Doh hadn't thought of that, will have a play (I use windows)

Cool just checking cheap Epsom scanner will do the trick thanks.

I always use www.Blurb.com for photobooks - well over a thousand ordered now and only one problem, which was sorted FOC without the book needing to be sent back.
