Don't even post a pic of a tin of Bird's anymore in case the colour causes eye strain and you could sue PH.

Submitting that claim would have taken some balls. Shameless, shameless balls.

He's lucky to be alive, I'm surprised that's all they awarded him rolleyes

I wish I got £2500 every time I cut my knee when I was at school too, wouldn't need to bother with work.

As a result the custard from the tray spilt onto the claimant's left hand, sustaining injury.
I'm amazed I'm still alive as I've suffered both custard and gravy spills in the past. smile

Who can I sue then.....?

When in Yr9 I decided to drill through a penny in Design Tech. As you do. Halfway through the penny started spinning and in a total moment of empty headedness I grabbed it between thumb and index finger. It was like a circular saw and made a bit of a mess. hehe

Still, I just had to suck it up. st happens.

I got a bit brave when using a rotary sander to do some edges on a very fine, small piece of wood, and managed to sand away the majority of the knuckle on my right middle finger. Lick it clean, bit of tissue and some masking tape and soldier on.

There was a lad in another year that stuck his finger in the lathe whilst it was on. It took his finger clean off. hehe

Has any child successfully sued for emotional grief after getting cheered for dropping their plate in the dinner hall?

I sanded away the end of my left index finger on a belt sander once, when I was in the machine shop unsupervised after school. That hurt a bit.

Own up anyone who after being told about leaving a chuck key in a lathe being dangerous by the teacher didn't believe them and decided to test what would happen if you left the chuck key in and started the lathe?

We found that if one connected the gas tap to a length of capillary tube with a length of rubber pipe, it would make an extremely satisfactory flame thrower. Turn the gas on very low, and get a small flame going on the end. Find an innocent victim sat on one of those lab stools with a hole in the middle. place end of tube under hole, immediately under victim's ringpiece. Wack up the gas, and roast the victim's arse. Huge fun.

I was doing gymnastics and i used to be a touch rotund.

I hurtled at the horse, got some decent air, but apparently not enough, my foot somehow got caught on the other side of the horse and I stopped dead, just dangling over the horse a bit like a beached whale.

about 5 seconds later I fell and broke my wrist.

The advice I got was to go and run it under cold water then come back.

What is wrong with these kids.
