An equality campaigner present found the comment to be racist and offensive.
If they don't "find" things they have no job so will grasp any comment as racist and then claim anyone disagreeing with them is racist etc.....

I wonder how she got the job? I wonder if it was one of those jobs where they would never consider a white person as they wouldn't want to appear to be racist in their decision.

Is it in fact a job or just someone taking upon themselves to interfere?

Wiltshire Council Chief Executive, Andrew Kerr said: "We're making sure that the procedures ensure that the laws of natural justice are undertaken"
WTF does this mean? confused Will the councillor have to fight a bear to decide whether she's guilty or jot?

Excellent, the leader of Wiltshire Council attends our Parish Council meetings. I shall make as many jungle references as I can next time.

"The authority investigated and found it was a valid complaint.

However, a report has now said that investigation was carried out unfairly."

Who pays for all this?
Two reports, probably another to follow. All because of one person being 'offended'

Unless I've missed something.......I'm at a loss to decipher why it was a racist comment? What was the implication? Can someone explain?

Or is that not the point? confused

No, I get that bit......But why is it racist?

Without the aid of telephone technology.....How were people who live in the jungle and wish to communicate with each other over distance expected to do so. Far from being derogatory, I think it's quite clever actually. That sort of innovation should be celebrated.

So Sonia whatsherface should really get the local authority to send her on an attitude adjustment course.

Or is that racist?
