No big road trip or challenge in the first episode, instead, Clarkson gives the E-Type Jaguar a big 50th birthday celebration.

Apparently this was filmed just up the road from us in Chilham a couple of weeks ago, there were certainly a lot of E-types floating around the area. Might be worth watching this episode then.

Top Gear can't do anything right for the moaners.

Have a race - It's staged
Review some normal cars - It's boring
Review a supercar - Not what the average person can buy
Build something - All staged and to much Tom foolery
A tribute to a classic car - Crap before it's even been aired.

Throw in some abuse about Hammonds Hair and the clothes etc.

clarkson has already done the E-type (against a DB5). And he drove one around Europe for a series back in the late 90s. I'm confident it will be good, and make everyone here way "I want one"

Or in one sentance "Top Gear has run out of ideas" laugh There's no sense of "I haven't seen this before" There are always the odd sparkles but they aren't nearly as often as they should be.
