Fizzy water at night?

Just come to my attention my habit of drinking sparkling water at night (that is to say, any time really between succesful pm teeth cleaning and succesful am teeth cleaning, but basically while lying in bed) may be foolish due to the carbonic acid in the water cause of the carbonation... what is the reality here please? Should I stop drinking sparkling water at night?
