V8S Steering wheel

Whilst on the subject of steering wheels, I have a Griffith wheel on my V8S. Am I right in thinking that the boss is different to the original “S” boss. The problem with the Griffith wheel is it sets the stalks too far away from shorter-fingered persons, such as the wife, so I’m looking for an alternative.

Is your indicator stalk straight ir does it have a bend in it?
There are two types - anbd it its been replaced with a straight one it is miles away from the wheel.

The griff uses a vauxhall steering column where the V8S is ford - but my original steering wheel still is a good reach to the stalks and I'm 6 foot 3 with shovel hands!

From recollection it's straight. I'm that very important inch bigger than you, but I have to reach right behind the wheel!

This is my wheel. Any suggestions for a wheel to replace it? Anyone need a Griffith wheel?
