I don't hold out much hope for his safety.

What a shame.

So young as well...

He should have been out shagging 17 year olds, not 7 year olds.

+ lots.

I hope it hurts a LOT when he is inside & he'll deserve every moment of it.

Just heard this on the radio..two things spring to mind - what are parents doing while their kids are groomed in front of a webcam? and for the older kids....do they not teach them how to use the net? Is it the "sex tape" era that makes them think it's ok to strip off to strangers on the web?

and the cop said "his PC WAS the investigation"...you'd think more these scum bangs would encrypt their evil deeds (i know not giving up keys is criminal....but you'd think less criminal that what's on the pc!)

If it had been my toddler he wouldn't have got to trial.

I find it interesting when I read posts like this one.

There are many many rapes, murders and sexual offences every year.

A great many offenders seem to get either light sentences or, if there have been issues with evidence etc may get acquitted.

YET, there are very few reports in the press of aggrieved parents taking revenge on offenders.

I assume this is because your average, law abiding father/uncle/brother/mother just aren't the type to go out and kill or beat people.

I'm more interested to know what caused him to want to get busy with children. Or maybe for some, confronting the uncomfortable truth is simply too difficult.

Or because its never reported in the press and the police dont follow the evidence through correctly wink

Maybe, maybe not. This is how I feel I would react but as I'm not in the situation and hope never to be, I can't be sure if I would follow these feelings through.

Because, in this example, our ninja poster would not actually do anything....on the assumption that he has a wife, partner, other kids, parents - none of which would like to see HIM go to prison.

Or that it's not possible to get access to the accused once they're convicted.

Indeed, but if someone DID want to do something they would find a way. The reality is doing something achieves very little positive results.

My thoughts are that most parents are probably held back by the thought that having to get over the abuse and losing a father to a prison sentence would just make things much, much worse for the kid.

Here we go again.

So you'd have been happy for your child to grow up with a parent in prison?
