Inner tube question
Discussion
Hello chaps.
A relatively straight forward question I hope. I have bought a set of 28c tyres for my bike which at the moment has 35c tyres fitted. I understand that inner tubes fit within a range but I am unsure whether my 35c inner tubes will fit the new slimmer 28c tyres.
So, do I need a new set of inner tubes or are the ones I have at present OK?
Thanks

It should (though not always) be marked on the tube somewhere what the recommended range of widths are e.g. 700 x 18-25 or 28-35 etc. It may also be marked as 25/35-622 where the smaller numbers refer to the width. As long as you keep within the recommended range you should be fine, and you're best avoiding putting a fat touring tube into a skinny racing tyre and vice versa.
