Great result, I was cheering from the paddock!

Before the race I was with a few BMW chaps as a mate was racing there, they were giving it the old 'something will break on that TVR, you watch' and all the typical TVR comments....i stayed quiet until the final lap....'what was that guys, look who's 1st??!! classic! all in good nature of course

Danny did well to stay on the black stuff and out of the gravel running on a wet track on slicks then to pass the KTM xbow looked like he just activated Kers & DRS!, unfortunately saunders was not so lucky, I guess the cerb was too slippery in the wet running on slicks.

Fantastic effort chaps, look forward to the next race.

Just got back. Some muppet rolled a caravan on the m25 blocking all lanes.
1st race it started raining just as the grid formed and everyone was on slicks. The xbow got a good start and looked brilliant in the wet. Mike got jumped at the start but was running in second but lost it at the start of the third lap heading into paddock and slid into the gravel. Danny made his way through to second and inherited the lead when the leader slid off but never looked threatened after that.
Second race mike got jumped at the start and chased for the lead for several laps and was threatening the lead when the safety car came out. Danny got vey squeezed out at druids on the first lap and lost a huge number of places, but worked his way through the field well As the safety car went back in mike was still chasing the lead in second with Danny in fourth. Mike got alongside twice but didn't make it stick, but was challenging when...
An old git walked right in front of my camera and stood there. When he moved aft I pointed out the error of his ways, mike was on the grass returning to the track in fourth behind Danny, which is where they finished. Mike set the fastest lap whilst chasing down Danny.

Possibly? I was in the Red Cerbera. Thanks for the invite. We popped in, said hello, but wandered the track getting photo's.

Danny did very well to get a podium finish in race 2 while carrying all that "success ballast" for winning the first race. thumbup

Mike seemed to be the fastest car on wet tyres in race 2.

Don't forget young Danny had weight ballast for both races and was carrying 60kg for race 2, still awesome driving by both TVR drivers in them conditions,

Do the other cars have any driver aids, tc, etc?

Great drive by both drivers in very tricky conditions, was a very mature drive by young Danny.
I'm sure we will see a few more wins by both of them.

Thanks for that Dave, especially for those of Us a little bit further away than most.

Danny raced very well, kept his car out of trouble and got some great results, very exciting stuff.
