personally, i don't like them- they're essentially two polarizers stuck together. Does the job, but i find some odd effects on reflective surfaces and an odd colour cast depending on how it was rotated - could be I was using a cheapy one though

I considered getting one but decided against it because of the problem with a black cross appearing at high densities and short focal lengths. It's the same with all variable ND filters.

I'd like to think that spending three times as much will but a better product, not always the case I know! Dont really need to 'test' one as I know what they do, seems like a good idea but as with all things a good idea dosent necessarily work in the real world. Hence the question as to if anyone had actually used one from linked company.

If it is essentially two polarisers stuck together then you will get strange colour casts and reactions of reflective surfaces such as glass and plastic.

I wouldn't go near them personally.
