Door Glass to Roof Seal

My door glass to roof seals have seen better days and keep falling off. Can anyone advise the correct replacement for this seal. Is it usually only bonded on? seems to me it would be better in a mechanically fixed track as it tends to get roughly handled when its removed and stowed in the boot.

Talk to Adrian Venn Adrian@ I think he replaces the seals with ones from the Griff

i've looked in to this and couldn't find a seal that would do the job ? as good as the original part

i have tried 2 main rubber seal suppliers with no luck to date
i think there are some options out there as norman said i think its the old griff seal may work
the other is to use the mk2 chim seal which i think is a metal strip fixed to your roof panel
and the rubber trim goes in to this , try the 2 main tvr parts companies online and you should
see this

Spoke to Adrian Venn today on Normans recommendation, he was incredibly helpfull and confirmed the Griff or Mk2 Chim seal system is indeed the way to go to do the job properly but is an expensive option. Will try and get a look at one and see if I can come up with a cheaper solution. May take a while but iv'e got till the winter. In the mean time if anyone's already sorted it, please post.

Meant to add that I had a new roof last year via TVR Car Parts and they suppied all new seals including door glass to roof, while I dont use the car every day the seal does seem to work fine, perhaps a phone call to Neil might help
