Camera Recommendations

I already have a great Nikon DSLR (D80) and a couple of lenses, but I need a good (cheap) compact digi camera to carry around in my laptop bag for work.

Spec Requirements

Nice Wide Angle starting position (photographing room sets)
Reasonable zoom
10M pixels nothing greater needed
Compact to lose in a laptop bag
Long battery
